Who is Sarah Fielke?
Sarah Fielke is an award winning quilt designer from Sydney, Australia. In her 25 years in the quilting industry, her 14 best selling quilt books have been translated into 11 languages. Her first book, Material Obsession, is widely described as having been at the forefront of the Modern Quilting movement, and is a staple in many quilter's libraries. Her other books include Hand Quilted With Love, Cute Little Quilts, Old Quilts New Life and Stitch Your Story, as well as her popular BOM books.
Sarah's Block of the Month program is hugely popular and her own 2023 BOM, The Secret Garden, is open for subscription.
Sarah's quilts have roots in both modern and traditional quilting, making her a firm favourite with quilters new and old. She describes her quilts as "contemporary traditional".
Sarah teaches extensively worldwide and is a vocal and involved member of the quilting community. She is active on social media and can be found on Instagram @sfielke and in her Facebook group, Sarah Fielke Quilts.

She exhibits her quilts at quilts shows in Australia and internationally. Sarah has designed fabrics for Lecien, Japan, Spotlight Australia and Windham Fabrics. Sarah is an Aurifil designer and ambassador.
