How to Do Handwork | Handwork Masterclass Part 1 - From Piecing to Quilting
(Show 3008) When you hear names like Jinny Beyer, Cheryl See, Sue Spargo, Brian Haggard, or Sarah Fielke, no doubt you think of the extraordinary handwork of each one of these artists. With a resurgence and buzz over doing things by hand, we decided to put a masterclass show together with the masters of handwork just for you!
Jinny shares with Ricky and Alex the tools she uses to hand piece as she demos her 8-pointed star. Cheryl opens Ricky’s eyes to hand piecing hexies and diamonds. Sue talks about how she embellishes her wonderfully layered designs with hand dyed threads and heavier threads. Brian loves to make crazy quilts with pictures of relatives, and he shows how he hand embellishes those. Sarah talks about how she uses big stitches in quilting her quilts. PLUS, so much more!
