Textile Talks: Keidra Daniels Navaroli - Experimentation and Innovation in Textiles, presented by SAQA

What artists are doing with textiles these days couldn't even be perceived 100 years ago, maybe even 20 years ago. In this week's Textile Talk from the Quilt Alliance, scholar and curator Keidra Daniels Navaroli brings together a group of artists who "are pushing the perceived boundaries of textile practice" and "whose work provides opportunities for public engagement." Register today and watch when this episode airs this Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2 PM EDT.

From SAQA:

"Contemporary artists are pushing the perceived boundaries of textile practice. They are creating challenges to tradition and dynamic new possibilities. The collaborative work of artists, researchers, and museum professionals demonstrates this shift and engages the public. Keidra Daniels Navaroli is a scholar and curator. She will present a diverse group of artists whose work provides opportunities for public engagement."

This Textile Talk takes place, Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. Future installments are held online at 2 p.m. Eastern (11 a.m. Pacific) each Wednesday.

The video will be recorded and will be able to view later.
