Luckily our Block Of the Month expert Barbara Black is back as always with a catalog of tips to help you build your borders. She says, "It's time to start on the wide applique border that features lots of flowers, leaves and birds. We will work on these borders in Months 7, 8 and 9."

In 2008, we had an applique Block of the Month- and piecers were unhappy. In 2009, we had a pieced Block of the Month and appliquers were unhappy. So... in 2010 we had 2 Block of the Month quilts created by Sue Garman.
Month 3 of Homeward Bound, the 2023 TQS Block Of the Month designed by Sarah Fielke, means you'll be finishing the hollyhock blocks by adding small circles and leaves. Barbara Black is back with her monthly tips to help you conquer the 116 circles, in 5 different sizes, that make up the Hollyhock blocks.
It's a new year and as you probably already know, that means there is a brand new TQS Block Of the Month. This year's BOM is called Homeward Bound and is designed by Sarah Fielke.
