From the Quilt Alliance"This month, we're flipping the script, and sharing a block from Pat Sloan that draws from a long line of historic quilts made with the 'Churn Dash' pattern." Click through to take a look at the Month 3 block and how you can join in on the fun!

What is the 30th Anniversary Quilt Alliance Block Of the Month?:

"From April to December 2023 we’ll be sharing one block a month with Quilt Alliance members and donors. Each of these designers has participated in a Quilt Alliance oral history project, so we’ll be sharing quilt stories and nine great blocks to celebrate our 30th year!"

More Info about Month 3 from Pat Sloan and the Quilt Alliance:

"My favorite block in quilting is a Churn Dash. I feel it's a great way for beginners to try out a half square triangle unit to expand their skills. As a designer, I like to use the Churn Dash as a base and change it up. My biggest tip for quilters is to keep your quilting fun! Making quilts should feed your soul and make you happy. For my 'A Dash of Fun' block, I made adjustments to the basic Churn Dash to make it fun!"
