What is the 30th Anniversary Quilt Alliance Block Of the Month?:

"From April to December 2023 we’ll be sharing one block a month with Quilt Alliance members and donors. Each of these designers has participated in a Quilt Alliance oral history project, so we’ll be sharing quilt stories and nine great blocks to celebrate our 30th year!"

“This block starts off with simple squares in the center and then expands to slightly more complex units with the flying geese — just like our skills have to start simple before they can grow. With the color placement, this block has the feeling of links connecting. If you repeat this block and make an entire quilt, you can see all the links fitting together to make a composition that is both complex and beautiful!"
