How to Make Your Own Fabric from Spoonflower with Suzy Williams | How to Make a Precision Pieced Binding
(Show 2403) Suzy Williams of SuzyQuilts.com, began as a traditional quilter and was drawn to the modern quilt world and their use of fabrics. As a graphic designer, Suzy was drawn to Spoonflower.com which allowed her to create her own art and print on demand. This capability allowed her to design her own fabric to meet her specific needs. One quilt, in particular, was created with six different fabric designs that had been printed on one large piece of cloth. Creating her own fabric via Spoonflower, allows her tremendous flexibility. Suzy shows you how to design your own fat quarters. She then shares a fun technique for getting over a creative slump by making mini quilts.
