The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Playing Hookie" by Lisa Calle
Do a puzzle of Lisa Calle's quilt, Playing Hookie.
Playing Hookie is from the beginning of Lisa's quilting career when she was quilting for customers. Its name comes from the time she took to play hooky from those quilts and quilt her own. The top was made in a piecing class where she was learning about quarter-inch seams. The quilt also won Lisa her first award in 2006, and she has gone on to make many award-winning quilts since.
