The New Website - Day One

We are truly all in this together. We have amazing plans for you and this website, but we have to get all the moving parts going in the same direction. 

 

The Journey Begins

 

Welcome to the new website. There is so much to do and see, and you are an important part of getting the site tuned up and operating on all cylinders.

 

TheQuiltShow.com is about 5 times larger than most websites. From over 22,000 quilts in the SEE QUILTS gallery, to over 350 shows to WATCH, to lessons to LEARN, and things to discuss when you CONNECT in the forum etc, the site has thousands of moving parts. So….

 

The site is now in its BETA stage. The major parts work, but there is still a lot of fine-tuning needed to make it run smoothly. Use our HELP section to mention things you see that don’t quite work right. We will monitor all your notes, but don’t expect answers back on each one as we will be fixing, adjusting, and polishing as fast as we can.

 

We are excited by what you will be able to do and see and learn here at TheQuiltShow.com and thank you for your help and patience as this site starts up and evolves.

Hmm, couldn’t access the zoom quilts featured today. Nor the Jenny Breyer puzzles. The link took me to the correct page but no photos of the quilts. The puzzle link took me to the play page but when I clicked on play nothing happened. Please advise

The first time I tried to log in (2/26/2021) I received a 407 error message that there was not enough storage room on the server to load the information. I tried again about an hour later, and everything is fine. I love the new website! Well done!

I'm unable to view sessions. Getting a media unsupported message. However, am able to view trailers. When I tried to send a "Help" message, I get an "insufficient storage capacity" message.

I would like to re watch the monthly videos on the BOM color my world, but all I can find is the show video. Also I can not find how to download the files with all the patterns. I am logged in but have not been able to find.

I tried to submit a help request but there is no way to SEND the request to the webdesigners. In the WATCH section, when you click on a subject such as "Applique" or "Artist", the dropdown opens briefly and then closes before you can review the options and select one.

Hi Donna, try just clicking the arrow and then moving away. It should just give you the list. If you click on the word applique, it will show you the applique shows in boxes to the right. Hope this helps.
