National Quilting Day 2021 Is This Saturday Day
National Quilting Day is this Saturday, March 20, 2021, and the Quilt Alliance and the National Quilt Museum are proud to be the coordinators of this special day!
From the Quilt Alliance:
The Quilt Alliance and the National Quilt Museum are proud to be the coordinators of this special day! Check our website for fun and meaningful ideas for celebrating National Quilting Day, graphics and posters you can use to publicize your own NQD events and a home base for this important day to honor and promote quilting!
This year the Quilt Alliance is encouraging quilt lovers to do two things on National Quilting Day:
1. Label a quilt! Don’t let the story of your quilt fade away—take a moment to put a simple cotton label on one or more of the quilts you own. Basic information includes the maker’s name and location, date completed and description.
2. Display a quilt outside of your home or in a window, take a photo and post it using the tag #nationalquiltingday. The Quilt Alliance and National Quilt Museum will be sharing posts all day on our social media accounts.
