Kestrel uses a photo for color choices but mentions using commercial Paint Chips. Taking paint chips, without asking permission, would be like a painter taking fabric samples, with no intention of buying fabric, to clean up paint drips.

I do mention commercial paint chips, but only in the context of they gave me the idea to make my own, as demonstrated in the video.

The heaviness of a queen size quilt, on the domestic machine embroidery unit - how did she deal with that - positioning tables for support all around?

Stick the fusible side of the fabric to the sticky mat.

I always prewash. Removing the sizing helps the fusible stick better.

I use the standard blade, which Cricut calls a Fine Point Blade.
