Who is Rose Scheifer?
Rose Sheifer grew up on the East Coast, where her passion for creativity began at an early age. Her family sewed clothing for wholesale distributors in the Garment District of New York City. Everyone in her family learned to sew and worked in the factory, like it or not.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in illustration at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. This led to a career in publishing, as a production specialist and freelance graphic designer for nationwide publishers, as well as a career as a fine-arts muralist.
After designing more than 100 quilt books, she felt it was time to put her design skills together with fabric. That, combined with her collection of vintage linens and glassware, spurred the idea for Vintage Tablecloth Quilts.
Rose resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and son. She is now fully addicted to fabric!
