Who is Michelle Freedman?
Michelle Freedman is an award-winning quilt designer, fiber artist and educator based in Portland, Oregon. During the week she serves as the graphic design and marketing manager for Maywood Studio. On the weekends, she keeps busy creating new quilt patterns for her company, Stitchwell Patterns or cutting-up thrifted shirts for her latest project., The Reprintery. Her work has been showcased in national magazines and books, as well as at Missouri Star Quilt Co. and Keepsake Fabrics. She holds a BFA in design from Parsons School of Design.
