Who is Margaret Miller?

Margaret J. Miller is a studio quiltmaker who travels widely, giving lectures and workshops on color and design that encourage students to reach for the unexpected in contemporary and traditional quiltmaking. Her full teaching schedule has taken her throughout the United States and to many foreign countries she would never have visited if it hadn't been for quiltmaking! She is known for her enthusiasm, humor, and sincere encouragement of quiltmakers at all levels of skill and experience.

The author of six books on various kinds of quilt designing, Margaret writes about quilting techniques that help students learn more about color and value almost in spite of themselves! Her ongoing passion is working with the long triangle, and she developed the AnglePlay™ templates so that the formerly difficult shape would be easier to work with. Explorations with the long triangle shape have opened up a whole new world of design to Margaret.
