Who is Jennifer Forest?

Jennifer Forest is an interpretative curator and writer with a focus on telling the stories of Australia’s land and people, past and present. Currently an independent curator, Jennifer was senior curator at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka, and previously worked for the National Museum of Australia and ACT Historic Places.

Jennifer’s current projects include exhibition development for new builds and existing sites. This includes creative direction, story development, and exhibition delivery including working with exhibition designers, graphic designers, conservators, and interactive media developers to create new experiences.

Recently curated exhibitions include the Sisters of Charity Heritage Centre, The Campaign for Disability Rights, and A Century of Service. Jennifer’s publications include Jane Austen’s Sewing Box and History never repeats? Migration in the 1850s Griffith Review 61.
