Who is Debbie Grifka?
Debbie's mission is to add a little beauty to the world and to help others do the same. Her current work focuses on abstract, minimalist, modern quilts (often in black and white solids) and exploring the creative process.
Debbie's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at QuiltCon, where Canterbury #2 won first place in Appliqué in 2018. Her quilts have been published in many books and magazines including Modern Patchwork. Debbie's book, Lines by Design Quilts, (Fons & Porter) was published in 2016. Debbie has completed three 100 Day Projects: making a finished 10" mini quilt each day for 100 days in 2017, improv appliqué postcards in 2018, and 6"x6" works on canvas frames for her Mostly Monochromatic 2019 project.
Debbie enjoys sharing her love of quilting and creativity with others by visiting guilds to lecture and teach.
