Visitors will enjoy Blue Ribbon Prizewinners from the 2025 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Framed Center/Medallion Quilts, and Rebound-Renew-Reimagine. They will run from May 1, 2025 through August 23, 2025." From the Texas Quilt Museum: "Libby Lehman: The Art of Quilting celebrates the groundbreaking creativity and techniques in quilting pioneered by Lehman, one of the best-known fabric artists in the world. Starting 2024 off in a big and bold way, the Texas Quilt Museum has three brand new exhibits opening this month that will be on display from now until April 27, 2024. These include Kaffe Fassett: 85 & Fabulous, celebrating the leading textile designer and practitioner of contemporary crafts, International Quilt Festival Prizewinners 2023, featuring all 18 winners from this year's Houston Quilt Festival, and Prism Play: A Full Spectrum of Art Quilts, allowing "visitors to view a vibrant spectrum of color almost as though they were standing inside a prism." Debuting March 13, 2022: Tommy Romano is back to share skill builder quilt basics, advice on working with pre-cut jelly rolls and a Sudoku based quilt using 9-Patch blocks. Then it's time for a stop in LaGrange, TX for one of the country’s 10 best quilt museums, The Texas Quilt Museum. Founders Karey Bresenhan and Nancy O’Bryant Puentes restored a historic former furniture store into a fantastic exhibition space for rotating quilt exhibitions.
"The Texas Quilt Museum kicks off its 2022 season with two incredible collections that put a wholly different spin on the phrase “music sampling.” The exhibits SAQA: Musica! and Super Samplers will be on display from January 6 - May 1, 2022."
