Sweet Madame Blue by Margaret Solomon Gunn has taken home another Best of Show award, this time at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2023. Previously winning Best of Show at PIQF last year, Margaret and her award-winning quilt show no signs of stopping anytime soon. The Quilt Show Puzzle: A Forest of Colorful Delights

"Painted Forest" by Scott Hansen
Painted Forest started out as
a feather quilt that Scott was trying to make for Michael Miller fabrics. After his first try at making a "feather", he stood back and decided that it looked more like a tree. So he leaned into the tree idea and created three different tree styles that he could mix and match throughout the quilt. In his words, they're not perfect because trees aren't perfect. Scott then made a pattern of the quilt and it has become his most popular pattern, outselling all of his others.
