How to Work With Neckties And Silk with Julia McLeod | Korean Paper Cord Quilting With Youngmin Lee

(Show 2902) Quiltmaker Julia McLeod joins Alex and Ricky in the Dallas studio to teach them how to tame and work with vintage neckties and silks. She then shows how stabilization and a foundation can make a paper pieced design so much easier to sew accurately. Then, textile artist Youngmin Lee returns to demonstrate a Korean method of quilting using mulberry paper cording.

Great show. BUT the after set information was the best. The value of music in brain development was interesting. Technology is wonderful but like so much in our world, it’s a double edged sword. Now I get why the drums and sticks in kindergarden.
