Who is Lynette S. Warren?

Lynette Warren is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she began quilting.  When she moved to Georgia in 1996 her love for quilting developed into a passion.  She is an avid quilter and has exhibited quilts across the United States.  Lynette has also competed locally in quilt shows and won several awards for her handwork.  Lynette classifies herself as a traditional quilter and works exclusively by hand. Lynette’s quilts have been featured in the books Journey of Hope: Quilts Inspired by Barack Obama and 500 Traditional Quilts.  In addition to being a quilter, Lynette is a passionate quilt researcher, journalist and lecturer.  Her writing has been featured in “Today’s Quilter” and “Love Patchwork and Quilting” magazines.  Although Ms. Warren delights in researching and speaking about all things quilt related; most recently her research has focused on the tremendous contributions of Cuesta Benberry.
