The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Wings and Feathers" by Mark Sherman
Do a puzzle of Mark Sherman's quilt, Wings and Feathers.
Mark says the little secret behind Wings and Feathers is that it was meant to convey butterfly kisses from him to his daughter, hence the butterflies flying all over the quilt top. Mark hand-dyed about 90% of the fabric in this quilt, and quilted it with a longarm machine, spending over 3,000 hours on the project in total.
