The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Star Shadows" by Deb Tucker
Do a puzzle of Deb Tucker's quilt, Star Shadows.
Star Shadows was designed to be a wall hanging pattern, where Deb would provide you with alternate settings so that you could make it bigger if you'd like. It is a simple three color quilt featuring a dark, a medium, and a light, with a set star design inspired by the work of Judy Martin. Judy made a one-block design with one size, and Deb felt that if it could be one size then it could be another size too. So created the block in different sizes and offset them to "create the illusion of stars floating over the surface of a quilt and casting shadows below" in a unique design all her own.
