The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Peaceful Peacock" by Colette Dumont
Do a puzzle of Colette Dumont's quilt, Peaceful Peacock.
Peaceful Peacock is a stained glass quilt and the first quilt that Colette submitted to a contest. It was the 2014 Vermont Quilt Festival, and unfortunately, Colette could not attend because she was, as she puts it, "raking the hay". So a friend of hers took it to the show for her and called Colette when she was "raking" to tell her that she had won First Place in the Domestic Sewing Machine Quilting category. It was the first time she had won and it made her feel very good and encouraged her to make more quilts.
