Alex I loved your button embroidery! I would like to see more of your collage. What kind of fabric did you use for the backing? How did you attach the doilie to the background? I belong to the National Button Society and will definitely be...

Fascinating! Wish I were detail oriented enough in my craftsmanship to use the stain glass technique. Absolutely, beautiful. The technique of making the fabric circles outlined in beads is one I can personally use. Colette has an unbelievable amount of energy to accomplish all the dairy tasks, farm tasks, home tasks, relationship time, and mind meditation through her quilting. I hope you have her back on. A artist that needs sharing with the world of sewers of all kinds.

Alex's techniques of adding embroidery to buttons that are added to her pieces is a definite must do myself.

Please have more of Colette and of Alex's button and embroidery.

I enjoyed the show very much. Could you tell me the brand of shoes that Alex wore on Show # 3111. They looked so comfortable. I know the show was taped in the summer...Hope she still has them so she can tell me.
Thank you.

Loved the show, the techniques, and the quilts. Are there any written resources so I can put into practice what I've seen today?

I was so in awe at the tiny beaded addition to the quilts. It is over the top attention to detail. Thank you for sharing this. I might try this on some Christmas ornaments, but not a whole quilt! I loved the instruction on the bias tape process...

I’ve been a fan of Colleen’s work ever since I walked into Quilt Canada and saw Fleur De Glacé with it’s Best of Show ribbon attached. Absolutely amazing! This was a fabulous show and a great opportunity to see Colleen’s process.
