The Quilt Show Puzzle: "It Ain't Easy Being Green" by Ronda Beyer
Do a puzzle of Ronda Beyer's quilt, It Ain't Easy Being Green.
With the feathered star being one of her favorite designs, and having the queen of the feathered star Marsha McCloskey being her mentor, it's not hard to see why this quilt was the one that really put Ronda's name out there. It Ain't Easy Being Green is a medallion quilt that Ronda taught at her mother's quilt camp and specifically made for it, with a focus on her love for the color green. Its name was decided after Ronda put pictures of it on the internet and asked for title suggestions. One person saw it and thought of Kermit the Frog and his song "Bein' Green" and the name just stuck.
