Featured Garment - Quilt Creations 1st Place Winner at the 2023 Festival of Quilts
Birmingham
Congratulations to this year's Quilt Creations 1st Place Winner at the 2023 Festival of Quilts Birmingham, Jenny Pudney and her quilted garment Indigo Yogi. Jenny says about her work, "This piece was my final project for the Master Quilter course. The indigo dyeing used the shibori techniques of clamping, arashi and stitch resist. The patchwork blocks used techniques covered in the course and the instructions for constructing a yogi came from Susan Briscoe's 'Book of Boro'."
