I really enjoyed this interview - she has so many ideas and explains them well. Made me want to put down what I'm working on and try some of them.

For your shoulder issues....not necessarily a cure but certainly a help....I highly recommend Yoga for hands or Yoga for quilters, offered on YouTube by Heidi Parkes, who is a quilter and is also a yoga instructor.
