A Conversation with Nancy Crow
The International Quilt Museum presents a conversation with Nancy Crow. Recorded in 2020 as part of their Virtual First Friday series, the IQM talked to Nancy about her exhibit, Drawings: Monoprints and Riffs, which "showcases two types of contemporary quiltmaking" by Nancy.
From the International Quilt Museum:
"Join us for another Virtual First Friday right here beginning at 4:30 p.m. on September 4. This month, we are pleased to present “A Conversation with Nancy Crow.”
“Drawings: Monoprints and Riffs” is now on display at the International Quilt Museum. This exhibition showcases two types of contemporary quiltmaking created by artist Nancy Crow in the period of 2011-2020. During this time, Crow focused on monoprints and machine-pieced quilts. All are explorations of color and balance, form and texture, visual tension and meaning. Crow considers these works to be quilted drawings."
The exhibit, Drawings: Monoprints and Riffs, has now ended.
