Caught me out as it's a the 2nd here! Wish it were true. I started a quilt for my parents 5oth wedding anniversary but didn't quite finish in time. The top is complete. Then my Dad got bitten by a snake and died. I cannot face finishing it...

So funny. I forgot it was April Fool's Day. But if you feel like quilting a Sun Bonnet Sue where the embroidery work was done in the '30's I finally have the top done. It took forever to make the pattern I used to put the squares together are...

So funny. I forgot it was April Fool's Day. But if you feel like quilting a Sun Bonnet Sue where the embroidery work was done in the '30's I finally have the top done. It took forever to make the pattern I used to put the squares together are 21/2 pinwheel squares. I still have enough for another quilt top, but not sure I will wake another. it turned out very nice. Happy April 1st.

I wish I had a quilt that was a UFO so I could enter this contest. My UFO is in the box I ordered it in and isn't even started yet. I wonder if making the whole quilt from start to finish would count as a UFO??? LOL
