With the arrival of a new Block of the Month pattern comes a new blog from Barbara Black to help you her useful tips and tricks. For Month 11 of Color My World, Barbara says, "Finally, we start to make the Skyscrapers for Color My World. Even if you are not making this quilt, seeing how to create your own Skyscraper can be helpful for a future project."

Barbara also made wrote an earlier blog to help you with more information on the skyscrapers, and a note or two about adding your own personal touch as to them as well.

Hi there lovely quilters, I only just discovered the Color my World BOM, so I’m starting eleven months late! I’ve never done FPP but have had the chance to learn from the lovely Wendy Williams who believes anything is achievable! I was wondering if you had any words of wisdom for me as I go and choose my fabrics (such as easiest ones to work with?) I’m really excited about learning new techniques and building new friendships here! I’d love to hear from you xx

m attempting to sew section 2 and section 3 of the Eiffel Tower together but they dont fit. section 2 is wider than section 3. what have i done wrong?
