What is the stitch length
If you want it to look like hand quilting is it different stitch length than you use for machine stitching

Several years ago, I had a friend who used one to supplement speaking due to a throat problem. My 92 year old father is very hard of hearing -- even with hearing aids; when he can't get a word, we'll "write the word" for him if there isn't a reasonable synonym. I never thought of using to practice quilting!

I enjoyed seeing this again. BUT... my attempted at using ruler work on a large quilt have not been successful. I find it impossible to move a large quilt around just maneuvering it with the ruler. I'd like to see a demonstration of ruler work...

I'd like to see a demonstration of ruler work using a domestic machine on a larger quilt by one of these pros.
