Create Holographic and Textured Images with Wen Redmond | Spider Web Quilt Block with Ricky Tims

(Show 3602) Wen Redmond is a mixed media and digital fiber artist who enjoys exploring the boundaries of photography, digital printing, and fabric to create impactful quilts that reflect her deep love of nature. Formerly a home economics teacher, in 2003 she began using her computer skills to blend her love of photography with textiles—and hasn't looked back since. Wen demonstrates how to create holographic and textured images printed on unconventional materials. Plus, Ricky recreates his Spiderweb quilt, inspired by a pattern he found in a 1970s exhibition catalog, which he originally made for his parents' 50th anniversary.

I was so intrigued by Wen’s presentation but felt left hanging when it ended without telling us about her printing process. Surely she doesn’t rely on a home printer for these unconventional sizes and textures! I’m sure she reveals all in one or...

I generally watch TQS on AirPlay. The previous and current show will only play in French when I select Airplay. Yes, I checked that English(US) is selected. Is anyone else experiencing this?
