How to Do Free Motion Quilting Designs with Jenny K Lyon | Alex Anderson Embroidered Ribbon
(Show 2404) Jenny K Lyon, loves forms in nature, circles, and her garden, and all are evident in her work. Jenny shares a project to create a free motion motif based on the patterns found in fabric. She also recomments "Plactice - Play and Practice" and uses a Boogie Board, to practice creating quilting designs. Jenny then shares a fun technique for a boho cutwork design created using an altered ready to wear denim jacket and Kraft-tex. Kraf-tex is a paper product from C&T that looks like Leather. Jenny leverages a floral design for cutwork on the back of the jacket.
Alex shares how to make an embroidered ribbon, inspired by Priscilla Kidder and Wendy Grande, that becomes a wedding memento for the bride and groom.
