WeAllSew Tutorial: Back-to-School Pencil Rolls
The new school year is soon approaching, which means it's time to start gathering supplies again. But who wants to take that same old pencil case to school for another year? Pat Bravo at WeAllSew has a fast and easy Back-to-School Pencil Roll for you to make that is both a fun and functional way to store your writing instruments for the year. And while this is great for pencils, you, being the clever creative types that you are, could probably adapt this to hold your crochet hooks or knitting needles too.
"Hello fellow makers,
It’s that time of year again where we get to send the little ones back to school again! As a quilter, we look for any event (even if it’s not a holiday) as an excuse to get to our sewing machine. What better way to sew something up for the kids that they can use every day and bring a smile to their face, knowing you made it just for them.
On the blog today, I created this quilty pencil roll-up that would keep your little one’s coloredpencils and other school supplies organized! The best part of this project is that it’s fast andeasy to put together, so you can make more than one for all the kids in your life. I couldn’t resistbut to make more than one for this project.
Let’s get started and follow along with me on how I made this project!"
