Presented by SAQA: "Over the course of ten years, Stitch Buffalo grew from an experimental weekly embroidery meetup for refugee women into a comprehensive textile arts center—graduating from borrowed community rooms to a 4600 sq. foot retail space and studio along the way. Each year, around 200 refugee women receive training, tools, and materials; earn money for their families; and find a safe space within their new host community.
