"In the Spring of 2023, Hanson and Nomura conducted a series of interviews with leading Japanese quiltmakers. As part of their “Japanese Quiltmaker Oral History Project,” Hanson and Nomura asked these makers to reflect on their long careers as artists and teachers. The quiltmakers also shared about their work process and inspirations. Join Hanson and Nomura as they share some of the stories and analysis drawn from these discussions. This is part of what will hopefully be a multi-phase oral history project."
