"Born in Sardinia and raised in Florence, Italy, Brenti graduated with a degree in mathematics prior to relocating to the United States. It was there Brenti discovered a passion for American quilt styles.

Her pictorial quilts are a combination of her Italian cultural background as well as her love of quiltmaking and mathematics. An exhibition of Brenti's work will be on display at the International Quilt Museum’s Pumphrey Family Gallery from Sept. 20, 2023 through Feb. 17, 2024."
