From SAQA:

"How do you tell the story of 400 years of Black Culinary Icons in quilt? Commissioned by the Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD) to take the lead in conceiving of and creating the Legacy Quilt, Michelle Bishop, founder and executive director of Harlem Needle Arts worked with a team that brought the vision of Dr. Jessica B. Harris to life in the form of a quilt which spans 14’ x 30’."

This Textile Talk takes place, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. Future installments are held online at 2 p.m. Eastern (11 a.m. Pacific) each Wednesday.

The video will be recorded and will be able to view later.
