The Quilt Show Puzzle: "White Rain" by Teresa Duryea Wong
Do a puzzle of Teresa Duryea Wong's quilt, White Rain.
Teresa began traveling to Japan in 2014 and has been back every year since. On these trips, she began to collect lots and lots of antique Japanese textiles, like old indigos. She held on to them for so long, afraid to do anything with them, until she finally worked up the courage to cut them up and do something with them, which became her quilt White Rain. The quilt was quilted with a big stab stitch using white Sashiko thread, perhaps that's where the quilt got its name...
