The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Ripple" by Maria Shell
Do a puzzle of Maria Shell's quilt, Ripple.
As Maria has been making a lot of curves and circles in her quilts and teaching a class about making a circles and curves sampler, Ripple was born out of her recent exploration into the different shapes. She has moved from the lines and linear shapes of her past quilts to curvy ones, and Ripple features what she calls her braided curve technique. Maria's braided curves begin with a simple curve and then become braided through the magic of quilting.
