The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Mid Century Modern Curves" by Carole Lyles Shaw
Do a puzzle of Carole Lyles Shaw's quilt, Mid Century Modern Curves.
Mid Century Modern Curves was inspired by Carole's love of the improv drunkard's path block, which involves cutting the curve with no templates, no pinning, and no matching. Mid Century Modern is the title that she gives to this process, and she makes improv curve blocks with a quarter circle, puts them into groups of four, and then starts cutting them up and sewing them back together in an improvisational way.
