The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Kalina" by Candace Hassen

Do a puzzle of Candace Hassen's quilt, Kalina.

Candace loves taking a very traditional block and seeing what you can do with it. For Kalina, she took the Jacob's Ladder block, as she did with her quilt Whirlwind, and went to Electric Quilt and just started playing around by rotating the block and trying out different colors. All of a sudden, she had two hundred different drawings before she even started quilting. Whittling away at the drawings, she came upon the final design, a subtle and beautiful quilt full of pinks and reds.

This is the hardest quilt puzzle I’ve ever done so far!
