The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Hula Hibiscus" by Lisa Calle
Do a puzzle of Lisa Calle's quilt, Hula Hibiscus.
Hula Hibiscus is Lisa's first "scrap" quilt. While she loves scrap quilts, Lisa herself has a phobia of putting fabrics together that don't match. So in essence Hula Hibiscus is her version of a scrap quilt as all of the fabrics used were in Lisa's stash. It was awarded Best of Show at both the AQS Show in Des Moines, Iowa and the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza in Oaks, Pennsylvania.
