The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Fractured Four Patch" by Judy Gauthier
Do a puzzle of Judy Gauthier's quilt, Fractured Four Patch.
Fractured Four Patch came about as a result of Judy's daughter, in the nesting phase of her pregnancy, dumping all of her scraps into Judy's foyer and telling her that she didn't have enough room for them. She asked her if she would save them until the time when she could sew again. The caveat however was that Judy wasn't allowed to use any of them. Being the parent though, Judy did not heed this request and ended up using them to create Fractured Four Patch. In return for letting her use the scraps, Judy says that her daughter will end up eventually getting the quilt someday.
