The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Double Wedding Knots" by Sheri Cifaldi-Morrill

Do a puzzle of Sheri Cifaldi-Morrill's quilt, Double Wedding Knots.

Double Wedding Knots was first designed by Sheri for some very special friends of hers who were getting married. She had considered a double wedding ring quilt for them, but she wanted to design something special instead. The quilt featured two knots coming together with one playing off the warm color palette and the other the cold, which Sheri said fit the personalities of the two people.

Artist Statement: "Inspired by the wedding of close friends, I designed Double Wedding Knots as a modern alternative to the traditional double wedding ring quilt. I wanted to create a handmade, meaningful gift that not only commemorates their union, but also celebrates a life full of happiness and friendship. As they share laughter and tears, this handcrafted piece will be displayed on their living room wall as a reminder of their commitment to one another. The quilt is a one of a kind heirloom that will be passed down to future generations."
