The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Charleston Carriage" by Lee Chappell Monroe
Do a puzzle of Lee Chappell Monroe's quilt, Charleston Carriage.
Charleston Carriage is a quilt that Lee designed specifically to teach with students she has been working with for many, many years. It was made for her students to help develop their skills, including choosing what fabrics to use, picking their palettes, and then learning the skills they want to develop. She says, "It draws on appliqué, patchwork and foundation piecing. It puts the piecer in the driver’s seat to create their own layout using the many options in the pattern."
