Okan Arts: Yukata-Cotton-Lined Denim Bibs

Did the new year bring you or a loved one a new baby into your life? Is there a baby shower in your near future? Well, Victoria Stone of Okan Arts has a perfect gift for any of those situations with a quick and useful project for making Yukata-Cotton-Lined Denim Bibs for the tiny ones.

From Victoria Stone at Okan Arts:

"Happy New Year! I have had a few friends announce pregnancies recently, and wanted to make something quick and useful to give them. Bibs are always appreciated so I decided to whip up a six pack in fun colors.

To do the same, here’s what you need:

 - Some old jeans

 - Half-yard cuts of yukata cotton, pre-washed and pressed

 - The Bib Pattern (Click Here, or the link below, to Download the FREE Pattern)

These bibs are perfect for young ones, and a great way to use up worn out denim pants."

Victoria is the daughter of Patrica Belyea who was just a guest on The Quilt Show teaching us all how to use Yukata fabrics in our work. Learn from her right here by watching Working with Yukata Fabric and Designer Facings with Patricia Belyea | Quilt Care and Storage with Lisa Erlandson.
