The Quilt Show Puzzle: A Nine-Patch Has Many Uses
"Nine-Patch Jambalaya" by Diane Harris
Nine-Patch Jambalaya began when a bee that Diane was in exchanged small nine-patches for a year. Diane amassed 225
nine-patches of all kinds of fabrics, such as batiks, 30s, Christmas, and so on, but she wasn't sure how she was going to make them work together. Having seen the idea of the disappearing nine-patch, Diane started to cut up her newly acquired collection vertically and horizontally and then sewed them back together randomly. As a result of the small nature of the blocks, the quilt began to come together better than Diane would have thought.

You'll Be Amazed At What You See
You may be asking yourself if that lion fountain is dispensing water or is spitting out its drink in amazement at what it has seen. If you thought the latter, then what
could possibly make a statue do that? Well, perhaps it had just seen any of the over 400 episodes of The Quilt Show and was so surprised at all it could learn. With so much knowledge available, and so much more on the way, we can't help but to conclude that yes, that is why the solid stone lion statue spit out its drink, The Quilt Show is just too amazing to pass up!
