Featured Quilt - First Place Innovative at 2022 Pacific International Quilt Festival

The Year of the Masks by Rhonda Montgomery won First Place - Innovative at the 2022 Pacific International Quilt Festival. This whimsical Machine Pieced and Hand Appliquéd quilt was Longarm Machine Quilted by Charlene Nelson.

Rhonda says of her fun and fanciful work, "This quilt adventure began in 1990 at a Superbowl in New Orleans. I fell in love with the masquerade masks I saw and knew one day I would make a quilt with masks. I also love making wearable art but am too afraid to wear it. I thought about the masks we hide behind and decided to make a quilt combining the two ideas. I wish I could always be the girl in the mirror."

Grid Gliders are Back in Stock!
Get One Before They Sell Out

The Grid Glider from Sew Steady is a slick non-permanent surface that you place on your sewing machine table for piecing, machine quilting, etc. It makes it easier to move your fabric AND has convenient seam measurement lines so you can align pieces like half-square triangles and flying geese to a quarter-inch seam measurement line instead of marking a seam line on them.

These handy tools keep selling out, so don't wait to get one. Available in two sizes, 11" x 14" and 12" x 20".
