She wanted to make the jump from art quilting and take a dive into the Modern quilting ocean. As she puts it, "Imposter Syndrome is real for many of us. Whether you are dressing yourself for a job interview, rocking your newborn to sleep, standing to speak in front of a group, or making your side gig your "real" career, we can all feel like we are not good enough. The Big Fib is a whimsical take on the Fibonacci Swirl as the creator (that's me!) makes the leap from art quilter to modern quilter because YES SHE CAN!"

"Houston Strong" by Tommy Romano

Houston Strong was made by Tommy in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Tommy, and the students of the school where he worked, helped families repair their homes and buildings that were affected by the hurricane's destruction. After a long day of volunteer work, he would come home and work on this quilt as a way to relax and decompress.
